Data processing
1. Opinion article submissions (Participate)
Legal basis: explicit consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Data collected: the name or nickname the article is signed with (it may be a pen name), email address and article text. No other data is requested.
Purpose: internal editorial management; the email address is never published.
Retention: for as long as the article is in the editorial process; deleted on request.
Recipients: the El Azulón editorial team; no transfers to third parties.
2. Advertising from local businesses
Ads are served from our own server, with no third parties, no cookies and no profiling: no personal data of the viewer is processed. See the Cookie Policy.
3. Web analytics (Umami)
We use Umami (self-hosted) in cookieless mode, with no identifiable personal data. No consent is required (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in aggregate metrics). Nothing is shared with third parties.
