In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
Terms for writing in El Azulón
At El Azulón any fan can send us a news story, a match report or an opinion piece about Getafe. We don't ask for your name, email or sign-up. These are the rules of the game: what happens to what you write from the moment you press “Send”.
Who is behind it. The site is run by AGENTHICAL, S.L. · NIF (tax ID) B05658638 · registered office at C/ de la Guarda Cuidadosa 2, portal H, 5.º B, 28906 Getafe (Madrid) · contact email: contacto@elazulon.com.
Read them before you send. There is no box to tick: if you send a text, you authorise us to do what section 8 explains, and nothing more.
1. Your text is yours (authorship)
- What you send us is written by you. Send only your own texts or texts you have the right to share: nothing copied from another outlet, another website or another person without their permission.
- If you quote someone (a player's words, a figure from another outlet), say so in the text.
- Your text is signed “Anonymous”: we publish no name, because we don't ask for one.
- You are responsible for what you write. The decision to publish it is ours: nothing goes out until a person at El Azulón has read it (section 3).
2. What is not published (unlawful content)
Do not send, and we will not publish:
- other people's private data: home addresses, phone numbers, private email addresses or sensitive data (such as health data);
- insults, threats or anything outside fair play;
- unfounded accusations against specific people;
- messages of hate or discrimination, or that incite violence;
- texts that are not yours (section 1);
- and, in general, anything that is against the law or against other people's rights.
Signing as “Anonymous” does not make what you tell anonymous: if someone appears in the text, they really appear.
3. We read it before publishing it (editorial moderation)
- Nothing is published on its own. Every text is read by a person at El Azulón, who decides whether it goes out. An automatic filter gives us an indicative opinion, but it neither publishes nor discards anything.
- Before publishing, we specifically check for other people's private data, harm to reputation and unlawful content.
- Sending does not guarantee publication. We do not publish what breaks these terms and, in addition, we may decide not to publish a text on editorial grounds: for example, because it is not about Getafe, because it repeats something already published or because it cannot be understood. As we don't know who you are, we cannot tell you why.
- We cannot let you know whether it goes out or not: we don't know who you are. If it goes out, you will see it in News, Match Reports or Opinion, depending on what you sent.
- What we don't publish is deleted: if we discard it, it is deleted at that moment; if nobody has touched it in 30 days, it is deleted automatically. The system's backups last up to 90 days, are not used for anything else and may remain longer in an additional copy explained in the Privacy Policy (up to about six months).
- We take down a text already published if we later see that it breaks these terms, if its author asks us to (section 8) or if someone affected asks us to with good reason, for example because their data appears in it. To ask, write to contacto@elazulon.com saying which text it is and why. We review it and, while we do, we may hide it.
4. We only fix typos (corrections)
- We only fix typos: your view stays as it is. We don't change what you say or the meaning of your text.
- If a text needs more than typo fixes before it can be published (for example, removing another person's private data), we don't rewrite it to say something else and we don't publish it cut down: we don't publish it. You can send it again without that data.
- Once sent, you cannot edit it: there is no account or link to go back to it. If you want to change something, send a new text.
- If you see a mistake in a published text, write to us at contacto@elazulon.com.
5. It may appear in other languages (translations)
- El Azulón is published in Spanish, English, Arabic and Chinese. We decide in which languages each text appears; it always appears, at least, in the language you wrote it in.
- To translate we use a machine translation tool and we review the text first: before translating, we remove any name, contact detail or data of other people that is not needed.
- The translation respects what you said; it neither adds nor removes opinion.
- Which tool we use, and with what safeguards, is explained in the Privacy Policy.
6. Where it appears (publication on the Internet)
- If it is published, your text appears on elazulon.com, in its section (News, Match Reports or Opinion), with the label “From the fans” and signed “Anonymous”. A match report appears linked to its match.
- Because it is on the Internet, anyone can read it, in any country, and share or quote it.
- What is published stays on the site for as long as it makes editorial sense and there is no reason to take it down (section 3), or until its author asks us to take it down (section 8).
7. You can be found on Google (indexing by search engines)
- Fan texts are treated like the newsroom's: Google, Bing and other search engines may show them in their results.
- If we take down a text, it may still appear in those search engines for a while, until they update; that does not depend on us.
8. What you authorise us to do (reproduce and translate without giving up your rights)
- By sending a text you authorise us to publish it on El Azulón, to fix its typos, to translate it into the site's languages and to show it on its pages and in search engine results. It is a free, non-exclusive authorisation, for any country (because the Internet reaches all of them), and it lasts for as long as the text remains published on El Azulón: it ends when we take it down, by our decision or because you ask us to.
- We don't ask you to give up your copyright. The text is still yours and you can use it wherever you like. You are not assigning your copyright to us or giving it up: you only authorise us to do what this section says.
- We don't use your text for anything other than El Azulón and we don't pass it on to others.
- If you want us to take it down, write to contacto@elazulon.com saying which text it is. As we don't know who sent it, we may not be able to check that it is yours. Even so, we review it and take it down if the request is reasonable: for example, if you give us details of the text that only the person who wrote it would know, or if it contains your data.
Your data
How we handle the form's data (the security check, the submission limit, providers and your rights) is explained in the Privacy Policy.
When they apply and how they change
These terms apply from 26 October 2026 to texts sent from that day on. If we change them, we will publish the new version here with its date, and the new one only applies to texts sent afterwards.
