Getafe CF opened the gates of the Coliseum to their season-ticket holders on Tuesday for a first-team training session at 19:30. The club explained that the aim was for supporters to see at first hand the changes made to the stadium as a result of the redevelopment work, which has altered the entrances and relocated seats in various areas of the stands. A season ticket, either physical or digital, was required to get in.

The occasion also served as a trial run for the official UEFA Conference League fixture the side play at home on Thursday. The club wanted fans to familiarise themselves calmly with the new turnstiles and the new layout of the ground, so that access runs smoothly on European night.

The stadium will have seven entrances this season, five of them in the south end and two on the corner of the north end. The south end and the side stand are almost entirely available to supporters, pending completion of the main stand and the release of the areas that will house the directors' box, on the side, and the players' tunnel area, at the end.

The north end, which was not originally due to be ready until the end of the year, already has virtually all its seats in place and is expected to open to supporters before 2026 is out. As for the roof, the structure over the south end is already in place, with the full covering still to come, although the structure of the stands themselves will provide shade and shelter from the rain in the lower part of that end.

Away supporters will be housed in the upper side stand, on a corner, for European matches. In LaLiga no tickets will go on sale to visiting fans, as the season-ticket quota has been filled.

On the pitch, José Bordalás led a session with almost the entire squad available. The only absentee was Christantus Uche, who is still sidelined as he recovers from injury.

The new face on the grass was Francho Serrano, announced that same afternoon as a Getafe player, who completed his first session with the group and met his new team-mates. Enes Ünal, back at the club, was another of the players most warmly received by the crowd.
