Damián Suárez opened the scoring in the 36 and Mata sealed it from a penalty in the 50, right after returning from the dressing rooms.

Getafe defended the 0-2 for forty minutes reliably. Bordalás closed ranks with Kenedy, Timor and Jorge Molina.
