Getafe visited the Municipal Mariano González for a formality that very nearly stopped being one. Thirteen minutes in, they were 2-0 down.

Perera opened in the 6th minute and Jaime made it two in the 13th, the first goal of his career in the Copa del Rey. Navalcarnero were dreaming and Getafe could not find the game.

The reaction took a good hour and began by the least noble route: in the 68th, Calado turned the ball into his own net for 2-1.

The equaliser came in the 88th, through Mario Martín, who had come off the bench. The match went to extra time and there Montes, another substitute, appeared to make it 2-3 in the 111th minute.

Bordalás had used his whole bench: Mario Martín, Mayoral, Sancris, Liso, Solozábal and Montes. Ortiz Arias refereed the match.
