nGetafe visited Mestalla on 39 points and lost the match in the first half-hour.
Pepelu converted a penalty in the 8th minute and Diego López extended it in the 18th. In the 37th, Duro made it 3-0 from the spot, the second penalty of the match in Valencia's favour.
Three goals down before the break, the second half was a formality. Bordalás shared out minutes with Coba, Berrocal, Nyom, Yellu, Ismael and Bertuğ.
