nGetafe opened their Copa del Rey with the heaviest win of their season. Inter de Valdemoro, playing as hosts, conceded eleven.
Mario Martín opened in the 21st and from there it was Juanmi's night. He scored from the penalty spot in the 26th, again in the 36th, made it four in the 45th and completed his haul in the 48th: four goals in twenty-two minutes spread across the two halves.
The second half was a procession. Javi Muñoz scored in the 52nd and the 66th, Neyou made it seven in the 56th — his first Copa del Rey goal — and Joselu the ninth in the 70th.
Mayoral, who had come off the bench, closed the account with two goals in four minutes, in the 72nd and the 76th, for the final 0-11.
