Alcaraz converted a penalty in the 35th minute that turned out to be the only goal of the match (1-0), and the score stayed that way until the final whistle.

Djené, booked in the 34th minute, and Angileri both went off at half-time (46'), while Yellu and Mata did so in the 58th and Maksimović in the 81st. Alderete, Óscar Rodríguez — booked in the 57th —, Ilaix Moriba, Aleñá and Latasa all came on.

For Cádiz, Chust and Sobrino were booked before half-time (48' and 39'). Zaldua, booked in the 61st, and Sobrino were replaced in the 64th along with Roger; Chris Ramos followed in the 70th and Robert Navarro in the 82nd, making way for Iza, Lucas Pires, Iván Alejo — booked in the last minute (90') —, Juanmi and Maxi Gómez.
