Getafe opened the 1993-94 season at the home of Celta de Vigo B, on the first matchday of Group 1 of Segunda B.

Angelín scored in the 48th, Mariano in the 90th and Javi Sanz in the 94th.

Sánchez Duque brought on Padilla for Julián in the 70th and Javi Sanz for Montero in the 81st: the third scorer came off the bench.

Mozos, Mengíbar and Padilla were the Getafe players booked; there were none for the Vigo reserve side.

Ruiz Campo officiated. Getafe began the season fourth with 2 points.
