Antonio scored in the 13th, Diego equalised from the penalty spot in the 35th, Soler made it 2-1 in the 44th and Sánchez Duque levelled in the 69th.

Caturla made two changes at half-time: Míchel and Flores came on for José Luis and Sebas I.

Orive and Flores himself were the Getafe players booked; for Leganés, Dorado and Javi.

Yébenes López officiated. The second leg was played five days later at the Coliseum.
