Carlos Vela put Real Sociedad ahead in the 41st, just before half-time. Seferović made it 2-0 in the 69th and sealed the result.

Luis García brought on Lafita, Miku and Mosquera; Sarabia came off in the 60th, Pedro León in the 64th and Míchel in the 73rd.

Getafe's only yellow card was for Escudero, in the 52nd.

Martínez Munuera refereed. Getafe start without points in 18th place.
