Getafe visited the GSP Stadium in Nicosia with the 1-0 from the first leg in their favour, ninety minutes from the group stage.

Aílton levelled the tie in the 41st and the match went to extra time at 1-0. Cata Díaz scored in the 98th, his first goal in the Europa League, and left the aggregate at 2-1.

Míchel brought on Arizmendi for Pedro Ríos at half-time and Miku for Adrián Colunga in the 75th; the third change, Mosquera for Albín, came in extra time, in the 91st.

APOEL finished with ten men after Broerse's sending-off in the 116th. Miguel Torres in the 33rd, Parejo in the 37th and Cata Díaz in the 47th were booked for Getafe, and Tričkovski in the 104th for APOEL.

Alan Kelly was the referee. Getafe went through to the Europa League group stage. Mosquera and Pedro Ríos played their first match in the competition, and Marcano his first with Getafe.
