Getafe hosted Lugo sitting sixth with 44 points.

Chuli opened the scoring in the 26th minute. Lugo were reduced to ten men after Caballero's sending-off in the 56th minute and Jorge Molina sealed the 2-0 win in the 72nd.

Bordalás brought on Paul Anton, David Fuster and Šćepović; Chuli came off in the 75th minute, Portillo in the 83rd and Sergio Mora in the 87th.

Faurlín saw a yellow card in the 59th minute and Sergio Mora in the 64th.

Pérez Montero was the referee. Getafe move up to 47 points and remain sixth.
