Mariano scored in the 3rd and Paco López equalised in the 43rd.

Prado brought on Paco for Vidal in the 79th, Alfonso for Robert in the 81st and Toño Ruiz for Curiel in the 103rd.

The match stretched well beyond the 90th and slipped out of the referee's control: Robert was sent off in the 90th, Villoria saw a second yellow in the 96th and Juanma in the 99th, and Getafe finished with eight. Murcia finished with nine after the sending-offs of David Gómez in the 64th and Juanjo Martínez in the 109th. Pablo, Cañizares and Mariano were also booked.

Parada Martínez refereed. Getafe reached eleven points and stayed unbeaten in the play-off.
