Getafe hosted seventh-placed Valencia with 13 points, in the tenth round of fixtures.

Manuel Fernandes put Valencia ahead in the 29th. With Getafe a man down from the 44th, Joaquín made it two in the 68th and Vicente added the third in the 81st.

Víctor Muñoz brought Gavilán on for Licht at half-time, Guerrón for Granero in the 60th and Uche for Manu del Moral in the 71st.

Soldado was sent off in the 44th. Contra, Cata Díaz, Licht, Polanski and Manu del Moral were booked for Getafe, and Marchena, Moretti, Manuel Fernandes and Mata for Valencia.

Undiano Mallenco refereed. Getafe dropped to eighth place with 13 points.
