Corbalan scored in the 22nd his first goal for the club in the Cup, Villa made it 2-0 from the penalty spot in the 72nd and Emiliano pulled one back in the 80th.

Chato Gonzalez made three changes at half-time: Angelito, Angelo and Antonio came on for Glogovac, Jaime Ramos and Corbalan.

Lopez Martin was sent off in the 80th. Villa, Rafita, Julian and Antonio were also booked.

Contador Crespo refereed. Getafe were eliminated from the Copa del Rey with a 4-2 aggregate.
