Getafe visited Vallecas fifth with 57 points, in the thirty-sixth matchday.

Roberto scored in the 43rd and Craioveanu equalised in the 64th. Pachón decided the match in the 85th, with Rayo already down to ten men.

The first change was forced: Diego Rivas got injured in the 12th and Cubillo came on. Then Gari Uranga replaced Nano Rivas in the 53rd and Ángel Castro replaced Craioveanu in the 88th.

Rayo went down to ten in the 70th after Iriney's sending-off. Goalkeeper Sergio Sánchez, Yanguas, Vivar Dorado and Craioveanu were booked for Getafe.
