Getafe hosted tenth-placed Mallorca with 18 points, in the fifteenth round of fixtures.

Contra opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 14th minute and Uche added the second in the 31st. Aduriz pulled one back two minutes later, but Manu del Moral and Gavilán sealed the match in the 72nd and the 85th.

Víctor Muñoz brought Manu del Moral on for Albín at half-time, Soldado for Uche in the 67th and Guerrón for Contra in the 77th.

Mario and Polanski were booked for Getafe; for Mallorca, Josemi, David Navarro, Jurado, Mario Suárez, Varela, Arango and Aduriz.

Paradas Romero refereed. Getafe rose to ninth place with 21 points.
