nGetafe visited Elche in eighteenth place with 13 points on matchday 13.
Maikel scored in the 5th and Paco Garcia equalised in the 20th. In the second half Getafe settled it: Maikel again in the 61st — his first double in the Segunda Division —, Vidal in the 71st and Pereira from the penalty spot in the 85th, his first goal in the division.
Juanjo replaced Darino at half-time with Alfredo, and brought on Pereira for Maikel in the 69th — and he scored — and Fernando for Vidal in the 77th.
Elche finished with nine men: Redondo saw a second yellow in the 29th and goalkeeper Cesar Galvez was sent off in the 82nd. Jero, Canizares, Vidal, Dani Marin and Pereira saw yellow for Getafe.
Teixeira Vitienes was the referee. Getafe climbed three places, up to fifteenth, with 16 points.
