The score remained goalless until the 84th minute, when Kike Sola made it 0-1. Diego Castro, who had started on the bench, converted a penalty in the 90th to seal the final 1-1.
Luis García brought on Diego Castro, Paco Alcácer and Gavilán. Pedro León came off in the 62nd minute, Álvaro Vázquez in the 69th and Barrada in the 75th.
Lopo was booked in the 64th minute, Lafita in the 73rd, Míchel in the 75th and Valera in the 82nd. Osasuna played with ten men from the 77th after Armenteros was sent off.
