The match swung in the second half: Mista scored in the 57th, Luis Garcia in the 65th and Mista again in the 76th.

Gonzalo Hurtado replaced Vidal and Carlos in the 77th, with Mariano Juan and Pineda, and brought on Cabezas for Hugo in the 83rd.

Only Darino saw yellow for Getafe; for Tenerife, Curro Torres and Dani.
