Getafe hosted Girona with the tie level at 1-1 after the first leg and ninety minutes separating them from the Copa del Rey round of sixteen.

The match was settled in the opening four minutes: Sarabia scored in the 1st minute and Adrian Colunga converted a penalty in the 4th. Lafita added the third in the 34th, Jandro pulled one back from the spot in the 58th and Lisandro Lopez completed the 4-1 scoreline in the 72nd.

Luis Garcia brought on Pedro Leon and Mosquera; Borja went off in the 62nd minute and Gavilan in the 71st.

Borja was booked in the 42nd minute and Escudero in the 68th.

Iglesias Villanueva was the referee. Getafe advance to the round of sixteen with a 5-2 aggregate victory.
