Getafe visited Mestalla in 18th place with 28 points, in the relegation zone.

Vargas scored in the 5th minute. Getafe turned it around in two minutes through Lafita in the 25th and Marica in the 27th, before Pedro Leon completed the 1-3 scoreline in the 88th.

Contra brought on Lacen, Alexis and Sarabia; Juan Rodriguez went off at half-time, Escudero in the 56th minute and Rafa in the 76th.

Escudero, Lisandro Lopez, Mosquera and Lafita were booked. Valencia finished with ten men after Mathieu received a second yellow card in the 88th minute.
