Getafe visited Montilivi sitting fifth with 43 points.
The match slipped away in the first half-hour: Kiko Olivas scored in the 18th minute, Borja García in the 25th and Granell from the penalty spot in the 33rd. Longo made it four in the 59th, Portillo pulled one back in the 78th and Longo sealed the 5-1 in the 85th.
Bordalás used his bench with Chuli, Šćepović and Portillo; Quezada came off in the 29th minute, Castillón at half-time and Emi Buendía in the 59th.
Getafe saw six yellow cards: Alberto, Castillón, Emi Buendía, Sergio Mora, Portillo and Chuli.
Valdés Aller was the referee. Bordalás was taking charge of his 300th match in the Segunda División. Getafe remain on 43 points and drop to sixth place.
