Soriano scored in the 73rd minute and the 0-1 did not change.

Prado brought on Nando for Villoria in the 59th minute, Raul Espinosa for Pedro Ruiz in the 71st and Emilio for Paco in the 87th.

Matias Rubio, Canizares, Villoria and Jose Carlos were booked for Getafe, and six Talavera players were cautioned.

Hernandez Rodriguez was the match referee. Getafe began the season sixteenth and without a point, with Nando, Villoria, Emilio and Jose Carlos making their debuts for the club in the division.
