Getafe visited La Romareda sixth with 16 points, on the ninth matchday.

Pulido was sent off in the 11th and Getafe played almost the whole match with ten men. Diogo scored in the 38th, Manu del Moral equalised from the penalty spot in the 67th and Zaragoza sealed it with Diego Milito in the 73rd and Ewerthon in the 89th.

The first change came in the 19th: Tena came on for Redondo. Then Mario Cotelo replaced Paunović in the 68th and Licht replaced Nacho in the 82nd.

Besides the red card for Pulido, goalkeeper Abbondanzieri, Cortés and Paredes saw yellow for Getafe; for Zaragoza, Sergio Fernández and Lafita.
