Getafe visited San Mamés seventh with 13 points in the ninth matchday.

The game was decided early: Iraola scored in the 6th minute and San José converted a penalty in the 12th. Gabilondo scored the third in the 83rd.

Míchel brought Casquero on for Víctor Sánchez at half-time, Arizmendi for Pedro Ríos in the 65th and Miku for Manu del Moral in the 69th.

Pintos, Rafa, Boateng, Víctor Sánchez and Arizmendi were booked for Getafe, and Iraola and Javi Martínez for Athletic.
