Laudrup replaced Casquero and Kepa at half-time, with Manu del Moral and Braulio, and brought on Sousa for Belenguer in the 67th.

Albín in the 46th, Contra in the 79th and Braulio in the 91st were booked for Getafe; for Hapoel, goalkeeper Enyeama in the 28th and Abutbul in the 93rd.

Costas Kapitanis was the referee. It was Pablo Hernández's first UEFA Cup goal and Contra's first match in the competition for the club.
