Getafe hosted Leganés in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey, a single leg.

Rodríguez scored in the 7th and Alberto Ruiz equalised in the 35th. The Leganés striker scored again in the 61st to settle the tie.

Uribe brought on Gari Uranga for Alberto Ruiz in the 57th, Luis López for Cubillo in the 62nd and Ángel Castro for Tena in the 72nd.

Cubillo was booked in the 59th and Amaya in the 86th for Getafe, and Vitali and Pietravallo for Leganés.

Fernández Borbalán was the referee. Getafe were knocked out of the Copa del Rey in their first tie.
