The match turned in three minutes: Abbondanzieri was sent off in the 3rd and Barkero converted the penalty in the 7th. Aranda made it two in the 80th.

The first change was forced and came in the 6th: keeper Jacobo came on for Granero, and Getafe played the rest with ten men. Afterwards, Soldado replaced Manu del Moral in the 55th and Uche replaced Gavilán in the 75th.

Albín, Gavilán and Celestini were booked for Getafe, and Guayre for Numancia.
