Getafe hosted fifteenth-placed Racing de Ferrol, on 27 points, in the 25th round.

The match could not have started worse: in the 1st minute the ball ended up in their own goal and the scorer was credited as goalkeeper Pindado. Diego Rivas equalised in the 28th, Copito scored in the 57th — his first goal in the Segunda División — and Craioveanu closed the 3-1 in the 90th.

Mel brought on Craioveanu for Estévez at half-time, and introduced Copito for Edgar in the 50th and Chiqui for Míchel in the 67th.

Txema and Jusué were booked for Getafe, and Iñigo and Raúl López for Racing de Ferrol.

Herráez Prieto took charge. Getafe climbed to thirteenth place with 30 points.
