Soldado opened the scoring in the 15th — Getafe's 200th goal in LaLiga — and Granero made it two in the 16th. Barral pulled one back in the 44th, and in the second half came Soldado's in the 56th, Uche's in the 69th and Soldado's penalty in the 72nd, which completed his first hat-trick for the club.
The first change came in the 13th, forced by Manu del Moral's injury: Soldado came on and ended up scoring three. Afterwards, Kaş replaced Mario in the 73rd and Celestini replaced Casquero in the 83rd.
Cortés and Gavilán were booked for Getafe, and Neru and Barral for Sporting.
Turienzo Álvarez was the referee. Getafe climbed to eleventh place with 24 points.
