Getafe played host to Athletic, in 18th place with 3 points, on matchday 6: they were chasing their first LaLiga win at the Coliseum.

Pachón scored in the very first minute, Etxeberria equalised in the 51st, and the Getafe striker struck again in the 60th and the 64th: it was his first LaLiga hat-trick.

Quique Sánchez Flores brought Craioveanu on for Míchel in the 59th minute, Kome for Riki in the 74th and Yordi for Pachón in the 84th.
