Getafe visited the Ono Estadi in the second leg of the quarter-finals holding a favourable 1-0 from the first leg.

Ibagaza scored in the 8th and Arango in the 55th: the tie was slipping away from Getafe. Granero scored the goal that saved it in the 80th, his first in the Copa del Rey.

Laudrup switched Mario for Tena at the break, and brought on Pablo Hernández for Gavilán in the 61st and Manu del Moral for Licht in the 78th.

Granero was sent off in the 87th, seven minutes after scoring. Licht in the 6th, Cata Díaz in the 57th and goalkeeper Ustari in the 87th were booked.

Iturralde González refereed. The aggregate ended 2-2 and Getafe went through to the semi-finals on the away goal scored in Palma.
