Jorge Molina scored in the 5th minute and Portillo extended the lead in the 37th. Both goals came before half-time.

Bordalás brought on Chuli, Paul Anton and David Fuster; Pacheco came off in the 73rd minute, Portillo in the 77th and Faurlín in the 86th.

Damián Suárez saw a yellow card in the 77th minute and Chuli in the 90th.

Arcediano Monescillo was the referee. Getafe move up to 51 points and remain sixth.
