Getafe hosted San Sebastián de los Reyes in the second leg of the first round of the Copa del Rey, with the 0-3 from the first leg in their favour.

Javier put Sanse ahead in the 2nd and from there it was a procession: Rivera equalised in the 3rd and scored again in the 25th, Totó made it 2-1 in the 6th and 9-1 in the 87th, Arroyo 4-1 in the 41st, Sebas I 5-1, 6-1 and 8-1 in the 50th, the 66th and the 86th, and Antonio 7-1 from the penalty spot in the 75th.

Sergio took the goalkeeper's place instead of Caballero. Sierra brought on Antonio for Rivera in the 60th and López for Sebas II in the 67th.

There were no bookings for Getafe; for Sanse, Uceda.

Acevedo Martínez officiated. Getafe reached the second round with a 12-1 aggregate: it was Sebas I's first hat-trick in the Copa del Rey.
