Getafe visited Recreativo at the Nuevo Colombino, ninth with 10 points, in the seventh round.

Pachón scored in the 41st minute and Sinama-Pongolle equalised in the 53rd. Manu del Moral put Getafe ahead again in the 71st with his first goal in LaLiga. In the 90th minute, Javi Guerrero had the equaliser from the penalty spot and failed to convert, with Abbondanzieri between the posts.

Schuster replaced Alexis with Pulido at half-time, brought Nacho on for Mario Cotelo in the 61st minute and Alberto Aguilar for Pachón in the 76th.

Goalkeeper Abbondanzieri, Alexis, Redondo and Casquero were booked for Getafe, and Edu Moya and Beto for Recreativo.

Delgado Ferreiro refereed. Getafe moved up to eighth place with 13 points.
