nGetafe visited San Mamés eighth with 36 points, in the twenty-seventh matchday.
Orbaiz put Athletic ahead in the 13th minute and Manu del Moral equalised in the 32nd. Llorente converted a penalty in the 81st and Pedro León rescued a point in the 86th.
Míchel brought on Gavilán for Manu del Moral in the 70th minute, and Adrián and Kepa for Cortés and Parejo in the 82nd.
Both teams finished with ten men: Orbaiz, the author of the first goal, was sent off in the 37th minute and Miguel Torres saw a straight red in the 77th. Cortés, Rafa, Boateng and Manu del Moral were also booked for Getafe, and Amorebieta and Gurpegui for Athletic.
Pérez Burrull was the referee. Getafe stayed eighth with 37 points.
