Getafe hosted Real Sociedad 9th with 44 points and with the chance to return to 8th place.

Carlos Vela scored the 0-1 in the 4th minute. Pedro León levelled in the 17th and Barrada made it 2-1 in the 38th, just before half-time.

Luis García brought in Sarabia, Xavi Torres and Lopo; Barrada came off in the 76th, Borja in the 77th and Rafa in the 84th.

Diego Castro saw a yellow card in the 36th, Barrada in the 50th and Fede Fernández in the 59th. Griezmann, Mikel González and Iñigo Martínez were also booked.

Undiano Mallenco refereed. Getafe reached 47 points and rose from 9th to 8th place.
