Getafe hosted Málaga, eighth with 4 points, in the fourth matchday, on a Thursday night.

The match turned in eight minutes: Rondón scored in the 54th and Apoño converted a penalty in the 62nd.

Míchel brought Albín on for Casquero in the 58th, Pedro Ríos for Arizmendi in the 64th and Víctor Sánchez for Parejo in the 65th.

Rafa saw a second yellow in the 60th and Getafe played the final half-hour with ten men; Málaga were left the same from the 65th after the second booking for Jesús Gámez. Parejo was also booked.
