Getafe hosted Sevilla, eighth with 47 points, in the thirty-fourth matchday.

Adrián scored in the 16th minute, his first LaLiga goal; Luís Fabiano equalised in the 33rd and Kanouté put Sevilla ahead in the 38th. Pedro León equalised in the 58th, Luís Fabiano struck again in the 61st and Manu del Moral made it 3-3 in the 75th. In the 90th, Parejo converted the penalty for 4-3.

Míchel brought on Casquero for Celestini in the 57th minute, Manu del Moral for Gavilán in the 72nd and Parejo for Adrián in the 76th.

Kanouté received a second yellow card in the 84th minute and Sevilla finished with ten men. Cata Díaz, Mané, Pedro León, Miku and Casquero were booked for Getafe, and Stankevičius, Escudé and Lolo for Sevilla.

Clos Gómez was the referee. Getafe rose to seventh place with 50 points, level with Athletic Club.
