Getafe hosted Sporting de Gijón B, second with 32 points, on the eighteenth matchday.

Curiel scored in the 6th minute, Vidal in the 10th, Robert in the 14th and Toño Ruiz in the 73rd.

Prado brought on Toño Ruiz for Curiel in the 70th, Alfonso for Matías Rubio in the 72nd and Fernández Cuesta for Paco in the 79th.

Paco was Getafe's only booking; for the Asturian reserve side Jano, Lara and Samuel were shown yellow cards.

Torija Arroyo was the referee. Getafe regained top spot with 35 points, two more than Fuenlabrada. Fernández Cuesta made his debut for the club in Segunda B.
