The comeback was complete in half an hour: Pedro León scored in the 8th, Vergini in the 22nd and Álvaro Vázquez in the 30th. Lass pulled one back in the 52nd, leaving the aggregate at 3-3.

Escribá brought on Lacen, Sarabia and Šćepović; Mensah went off in the 60th, Moi Gómez in the 70th and Juan Rodríguez in the 81st.

Getafe received five yellow cards: Mensah in the 35th, Cala in the 63rd, Pedro León in the 72nd, and Damián Suárez and Vergini in the 88th.

Martínez Munuera was the referee. It was Vergini's first goal in the Copa del Rey. Getafe are eliminated in the round of 32.
