Mata scored in the 19th and Villa converted a penalty in the 24th. Casquero pulled one back, also from the spot, in the 49th, but Albiol made it 3-1 in the 55th and Villa rounded it off with another penalty in the 60th.
The second substitution was forced by the goalkeeper's sending-off: Ustari came on for Soldado in the 59th. Before that, Casquero had come on for Licht at half-time and Contra later replaced Uche in the 69th.
Jacobo, the starting keeper, saw a second yellow card in the 59th and Getafe finished with ten men. Mario, Soldado and Contra were also booked.
