Getafe welcomed Málaga, ninth with 18 points, on the thirteenth matchday.

Nacho put Málaga ahead in the 25th minute and Paunović equalised two minutes later. A Gerardo own goal made it 2-1 in the 39th, Juan Rodríguez equalised in the 52nd and Paunović decided it in the 85th: it was his first double in LaLiga with the club.

Schuster brought on Craioveanu for Gavilán in the 63rd, Vivar Dorado for Güiza in the 87th and Pulido for Paunović in the 89th.

There were no cards for Getafe; Gerardo and Salva saw yellow for Málaga.

Ayza Gámez was the referee. Getafe climbed to eighth place with 21 points.
