Getafe began their Copa del Rey round-of-32 tie at home against Eibar.

The match did not open up until the second half: Sarabia scored in the 63rd minute, Álvaro Vázquez in the 70th and Sarabia again in the 74th.

Contra brought on Emi Buendía, Álvaro Vázquez and Pedro León; Hinestroza and Baba Diawara went off in the 58th minute and Lafita in the 78th.

Getafe's only booking went to Valera in the 72nd minute.

Hernández Hernández was the referee. It was Getafe's 50th Copa del Rey victory and Sarabia's first brace in the competition. The return leg will be played at Ipurua.
