Iván Rosado scored from the penalty spot in the 8th minute and Lucio equalised in the 60th.

Sánchez Duque brought on Rafita for May in the 78th minute and Montero for Villa in the 90th.

May and Jaime Ramos were the Getafe players booked; for Recreativo, Queco.

Carmona Méndez officiated. The second leg was played two weeks later at the Coliseum.
