Getafe hosted Sevilla in the return leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals trailing 2-0 from the first leg: they needed three goals.

Soldado scored in the 51st minute and that is where the match stayed. The 1-0 left the tie at a 2-1 aggregate for Sevilla.

Míchel brought on Cortés for Miguel Torres at the break, Albín for Parejo in the 71st minute and Miku for Rafa in the 82nd.

Boateng in the 24th minute, Soldado in the 64th and Mané in the 66th were booked for Getafe; for Sevilla, goalkeeper Palop in the 19th, Cala in the 32nd, Fernando Navarro in the 37th, Romaric in the 57th and Luís Fabiano in the 77th.

Iturralde González was the referee. Getafe fell just one step short of the Copa del Rey final.
