Getafe were visiting Odense on the fifth group matchday with three points, those from the first matchday against this same rival; they had lost the next three matches.

Pedro Ríos scored in the 17th minute and Getafe held the 0-1 until stoppage time. Andreasen equalised in the 92nd, with no time left for more.

Míchel changed the side in the final stretch: Víctor Sánchez came on for Manu del Moral in the 68th, Borja for Parejo in the 80th and Mosquera for Albín in the 86th. Clausen had earlier brought on Feldballe for Kadrii in the 66th and Johansson for Traoré in the 72nd.

Miguel Torres was booked in the 14th, Mané in the 69th and Parejo in the 80th, just as he was leaving the pitch; for Odense, Djemba-Djemba in the 70th.
