Getafe hosted Polideportivo Ejido, who were eighth with 17 points, on the thirteenth matchday.

The match had no goals until the 87th minute, when a shot ended in Ejido's own net and the goal was credited to Aira. Sabino equalised a minute later.

Uribe only made two changes: Miguel Ángel came on for Nano Rivas in the 70th and Cubillo for Ángel Castro in the 84th.

Mario Cotelo was sent off in the 88th minute. Yanguas and Tena were also booked for Getafe.

Orueta Ibarrola was the referee. Getafe dropped to tenth place with 18 points.
